From love for their land
In this small family-run company, wine, oil, honey and seasonal vegetables are produced according to organic farming methods. We arrived at the application of these systems after eight years of guided struggle with the exclusive use of low-impact products, wanting to continue to favor quality over quantity.
Being in the Chianti area, we produce red wine with specific characters deriving from Sangiovese, Malvasia and Canaiolo grapes. With a skilful dosage of these grapes, produced from vines grown in the hills on strong soils, rich in skeleton, matured in perfect exposure to the sun, we obtain a well structured wine rich in characteristic aromas and flavors. A part of the product is left to rest in wooden barrels to obtain a further refinement of the original characteristics.
Even the olive trees, like the vines, are the object of special attention and care. Having reached perfect ripeness, the olives are harvested exclusively by hand and immediately sent for pressing. Particular care is taken in the extraction of the oil which takes place strictly cold and with precautions that, by reducing the exposure of the pasta to the air, avoids oxidation of the product. In this way we obtain the real Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, which blends wonderfully with the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine as well as with the fragrance of the vegetables from our garden.
The vegetables, produced according to the organic method, are for our family use and are available free of charge, according to quantity, for guests who want to taste products grown according to nature.
